Why is Hamburg the perfect place for the ISSCR Annual Meeting? Perhaps it's our bridge-building skills. Hamburg is the city with the most bridges in Europe. With around 2,500, Hamburg has more bridges than the well-known European "water cities" of Amsterdam, Stockholm, and Venice in total. In Hamburg, we also love to build bridges between people, especially in the regional life sciences sector. With around 600 companies, universities and research institutions, the Life Science Nord region in Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein is the beating heart of innovation and business. As a bridge builder, Life Science Nord supports the networking of the stakeholders with each other, with politics, and beyond regional and national borders.
