Giuliana Gagliardi, PhD, is a Life Sciences Project Adviser at the European Research Council Executive Agency (ERCEA), where she contributes to the evaluation and selection of proposals, as well as to the monitor and follow-up of funded projects.
Giuliana was trained as a stem cell biologist and earned her PhD from Sorbonne University. Before joining ERCEA, she worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Radboudumc (Nijmegen, the Netherlands), and then as an in vitro research scientist at Rewind Therapeutics, a pharmaceutical start-up based in Leuven, Belgium. Her research interests focused on the use of human iPSC-derived cells for cell therapy, disease modelling and drug testing.
At ERCEA, Giuliana is panel co-coordinator in the LS3 (Cell Biology, Development, Stem Cells and Regeneration) and Synergy panels.
