Dr. Duan has made seminar contributions to the field of schizophrenia genetic and genomics research over the years, including GWAS and large-scale transcriptomic studies. His lab’s current focus is to employ iPSC-derived neurons and organoids as models, in combination with CRISPR-mediated genome editing and single-cell genomics technologies, to understand the molecular and neurobiological basis of neuropsychiatric and neurodegenerative disorders.
