Ramon Pfaendler is a Ph.D. candidate in Prof. Dr. Berend Snijder's group at the Institute of Molecular Systems Biology at ETH Zurich in Switzerland. He obtained his Master's in Quantitative and Systems Biology from the University of Zurich in 2019, where he worked in Prof. Dr. Tuncay Baubec's group to study the protein interactome at various chromatin modifications using proximity labeling in mouse embryonic stem cells. In his current role in Prof. Dr. Berend Snijder's group, his research focuses on studying cellular state heterogeneity in human induced pluripotent stem cells upon drug perturbations. This involves high-content automated microscopy screens combined with deep learning, and high-throughput multi-omics to reveal the underlying molecular processes at work.
