My name is Daniel Postrach and I'm currently a PhD candidate in the lab of Hans-Reimer Rodewald at the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) in Heidelberg, Germany. My interest lies in the development of novel molecular tools that allow us to study cellular system at greater detail with imaging- and sequencing-based technologies. We succesfully applied DNA barcoding (Polylox) to resolve the complex developmental pathways of tissue-resident macrophages and developed a novel endogenous epitope barcoding system (Polytope) for fate-mapping stem cells via multiplexed imaging.
