Julia Batki is a postdoctoral fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Molecular Genetics in Berlin (Germany). After studying chemistry in Budapest (Hungary), she joined the Institute of Molecular Biotechnology (IMBA) in Vienna (Austria) for her PhD. Under the mentorship of Dr. Julius Brennecke, she investigated small RNA-guided silencing of transposable elements in the germline.
