Jinyuan Wang obtained his Ph.D. from the Chinese Academy of Sciences with a focus on developmental neuroscience. Then as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Harvard University in Dr. Kevin Eggan’s lab, he investigated neurodegenerative diseases like Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) using both human pluripotent stem cell (hPSC)-derived cells and in vivo mouse models. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist in the Neural Biology team at STEMCELL Technologies, Jinyuan is developing innovative products for neuroscience research. He currently oversees the STEMdiff™ hPSC-derived 2D neural product portfolio and the STEMdiff™ 3D Spinal Cord Organoid Differentiation Kit. These products aim to advance neuroscience research by providing essential tools to scientists globally.
