My name is Alessandra Ricca and I am Senior Postdoctoral Fellow at the San Raffaele Telethon Institute for gene therapy. Currently, I am dedicated to pioneering research aimed at evaluating the effectiveness of cutting-edge gene therapy approaches for the treatment of Globoid cell leukodystrophy. My work is focused on unraveling the underlying mechanisms of disease correction after treatment, leading to advances in understanding and combating this non curable disease.
