Dr. Neta Lavon is the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Aleph Farms, a leader in cellular agriculture based in Israel. Aleph Farms diversifies and decentralizes the production of high-quality animal products, including the world's first cultivated beef steak branded 'Aleph Cuts'. Dr. Lavon oversees R&D, focusing on scalable technological platforms for producing cell-cultured products. Previously, she was COO of Kadimastem (KDST), developing cell therapy for ALS and diabetes, and a researcher at Cedars-Sinai, where she established over two dozen pluripotent stem cell lines. An expert in stem cell applications, tech transfer, and R&D strategy, she holds a PhD in Genetics, an M.Sc. in Biotechnology, and a B.Sc. in Food Sciences from the Hebrew University. Her work advances food security, sustainability, and human health.
