Shulamit Levenberg, PhD, a professor at the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering at the Technion. She is the head of the Stem Cells and Tissue Engineering lab and the Director of Technion’s 3D Bioprinting Center. Prof. Levenberg is a fellow of the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE) and the National Academy of Inventors (NAI). She is the former President of the Israel Stem Cell Society and the former Dean of the Technion Faculty of Biomedical Engineering. She served as a member of the Israel National Council for Bioethics. Prof Levenberg is a co-founder and chief scientific advisor of three start-up companies in the areas of cultivated meat (Aleph farms), spinal cord regeneration (Nurexone) and nanoliter arrays for rapid antimicrobial susceptibility testing (Nanosynex).
