Esther Fousert

Esther Fousert is a PhD candidate at the Department of Otorhinolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery of Leiden University Medical Center. She works with patient-derived inner ear organoids and explores anti-sense oligonucleotides therapy for overcoming the disease phenotype. In addition to her laboratory research, she is delving into the ethical implications of emerging organoids technology for addressing deafness.
