Roger Pedersen is Adjunct Professor and Senior Research Scientist at Stanford University School of Medicine and serves as Chief Scientific Advisor of bit.bio. With a distinguished career in academia and research spanning over five decades, Dr. Pedersen specialises in Mammalian Stem Cell and Developmental Biology and Regenerative Medicine. He earned his A.B. in Biology from Stanford University (1965) and Ph.D. from Yale University (1970). His research focuses on using human pluripotent stem cells to model differentiation of early embryonic tissue lineages and to generate clinically relevant cell types. Dr. Pedersen is a member of the International Society for Stem Cell Research.
