Pinar Mesci, MSc, PhD
Dr. Pinar Mesci is a Senior Program Manager for In-Space Manufacturing at Axiom Space, in charge of a portfolio focused on biomedical research programs including stem cells, tissue engineering, disease modeling and DNA-inspired nanomaterials. Previously, Dr. Mesci was a project scientist at UC San Diego studying human neurodevelopment using human induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs). She has more than 12 years of experience in translational and biomedical research with a track record of publications in the fields of neuroscience, stem cell biology, most recently Zika and Coronavirus infections. Dr. Mesci earned a BSc in Life Sciences, an MSc in the Biology of Aging and a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Sorbonne University, Paris, France.
